Co-processing is a unique waste management service that completely recycles through energy and mineral components extraction process into the most fundamental building material – Portland Cement. Co-processing is a preferred option on the Waste Management Hierarchy for materials that cannot be re-used because it incorporates 100% of waste into Portland Cement, leaving no ash, residue, or negatively impacting emissions through waste treatment at over 2600C inside the cement kilns. Co-processing is a highly regulated activity – we use state-of-the-art technology in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
We service various commercial and industrial businesses and accept various waste streams ranging from chemical, plastics, and rubber manufacturers to agriculture, consumer goods, and construction. Many non-hazardous by-products contain materials, such as silica, alumina, iron, or calcium, which are used in the cement manufacturing process, and hence can be beneficially reused in our kilns.
